Locally owned and operated in Hampton Roads Virginia, Independent Lighting has been providing lighting products since 1983. An electrical Service division was added shortly afterward to provide troubleshooting, repairs, retrofits, and new lighting systems installations. The company ownership changed in 2019 to grow the services to its customers and community.
Independent Electrical, a full-service commercial electrical contractor, was formed as an extension of Independent Lighting providing new construction, renovation, and service work. We are licensed in Virginia as a Class A Electrical Contractor.
